Charlie Clermont
Born in September 1995 in Quebec City, Canada, Charlie Clermont completed an advertising technique in media arts and technologies at the Cégep de Jonquière, then a bachelor's degree in graphic design at the University of Quebec in Montreal.
After working for several years in companies such as design agencies and fashion companies, she now offers her own creations which are the direct product of her passion for art and design.
Charlie loves design for its refinement, its rigor, its organization, the importance of details and the art of juggling various elements in order to reach different clients. His intention: to create a unique, timeless and quality product.
Through painting, she explores the freedom of creation in its purest form. Her compositions have a surprising result. Applying her knowledge of the quality of visual communication gained from her design experience, she attempts to play and explore the limit of balance within imbalance.
Painter belonging to the abstract expressionism movement, his pictorial style can be recognized in his contrasting and energetic works, where the creation and the search for a complex visual balance emanating from a chaotic and imperfect universe are currently at the heart of his practice.
For the artist, a work of art must surprise, inspire, make one dream, lead to reflections, and thus, give the feeling that there is more to life. This sums up his mission: to astonish.
