Graffiti artist and Painter

Alfredus

Alfred Castet is a European artist, originally from Guadeloupe, France. Graffiti artist, painter and globetrotter, this artist works the portrait wishing to present the human being and the nature which surrounds him with sensitivity. Alfredus is fascinated by the artistic expression of street art.

In this atypical school, he learns the basics of spray can handling with the pioneers of the Gwada street-art scene.

From Bordeaux to Australia, his academic and artistic career led him to explore the culture of the world. It is through these experiences that the artist developed his own approach and colors which resulted in his own style.

Sensitive to the colors of his island and its culture, he finds his balance in adventure and encounters and transposes them into his creations.

Working in several mediums, he creates paintings and frescoes that he describes as subjective and claims no message. However, he wishes to “protect, observe and represent the human being and the environment in the form that seems to him the most spontaneous and the closest to his emotions.
